This concrete, cylindrical tower was built and first lit in 2011. Standing 15 meters tall with its focal height at 14 meters, it features a brown exterior with white trim and a red lantern roof. The structure includes a lantern and two galleries. Its white light flashes once every 2 seconds, visible for 11.6 nautical miles. The lighthouse is situated at the end of the west breakwater of Xiùyīng's traditional harbor.
Why it matters: This lighthouse is indispensable for the safe navigation of vessels entering and departing the increasingly busy Xiùyīng harbor, clearly marking the breakwater's end and supporting the region's maritime trade and fishing industries.
