Painted with black and white horizontal bands, it features a gallery and reaches a focal height of 17 meters. Since 2006, this lighthouse has emitted a white flash every two seconds, visible for 12.4 nautical miles. The site is open to the public, though the tower itself remains closed. Its construction in 2006 aimed to improve maritime safety in this active shipping area.
