Xiǎoshānzi Lighthouse, built in 1967, is a white, cylindrical brick tower standing 8 meters tall. It rises from a small, one-story brick building. The tower's focal height reaches 21 meters, and it emits a single white flash every six seconds. This light provides a geographic range of 13.4 nautical miles. The lighthouse is situated on a small island off East Zhīfú Point, which forms the eastern end of the Zhīfú peninsula. This location shelters the northwest side of Yāntái harbor.
