The Wèngyǔ Lighthouse is an octagonal concrete tower standing 9 meters tall, painted white. Its focal height reaches 15 meters above sea level. This active light emits a single white flash every 4 seconds, visible for 11.9 nautical miles. The lighthouse is situated on a reef marking the north side of the Mǐnjiāng channel, approximately 6 kilometers southwest of Jīnpái Mén and downstream from a bridge. The site is open to the public, but the tower itself is closed.
