Wēihǎi Pier North Side was a concrete round post lighthouse standing 19 meters tall, painted red. It featured a gallery and a focal height of 29 meters, emitting a white flash. The light had a geographic range of 7 nautical miles. This structure replaced an earlier square skeletal tower and was located at the northeast corner of the main Wēihǎi pier. Satellite imagery indicates its removal occurred between 2021 and 2022.
Why it matters: This light marked the northern edge of the main Wēihǎi pier, aiding vessels entering the busy harbor.
