This skeletal radar tower, standing at least 40 meters tall, formerly supported the Tuticorin Harbour East Breakwater light. The tower, with a square design, was positioned on the south side of the entrance to Tuticorin Harbour, near Thoothukudi. The light emitted a quick red flash. This navigational aid was located approximately 0.4 km from the nearest port, New Tuticorin. The structure and its associated light were removed in 2022 following modifications to the harbor's breakwater.
