This brick lighthouse, constructed in 1900, stands 49 meters tall. Its octagonal tower features white and black bands. The light emits white, red, and green signals, with a single white, red, or green flash repeating every 5 seconds. The station offers a geographic range of 15 nautical miles. The present structure was built in 1919.
Why it matters: The lighthouse is part of the Qingdao German architectural complex, a national key cultural heritage protection unit.
