About St. Regis Sānyà Yàlóng Bay Resort Marina Lighthouse
A cylindrical concrete tower, 17 meters in height, was constructed and first illuminated in 2012 at the St. Regis Sānyà Yàlóng Bay Resort Marina. The building, finished in white with a red lantern, included a focal height of 72 meters and projected a white light on a 10-second sequence. It was positioned on the northwest side of Yàlóng Bay, marking the marina's south breakwater. This structure offered a geographic range of approximately 21.7 nautical miles. Public access to the tower was restricted, but the location itself was accessible. This navigation aid was dismantled in 2021.
Why it matters: This light served as a marker for ships approaching and departing the St. Regis Sānyà Yàlóng Bay Resort Marina, improving secure entry to its amenities.
