This lighthouse stands on the southern tip of Qimei, the southernmost island within the Penghu archipelago. Construction of the lighthouse was completed in 1939, and it began operation that same year. The structure consists of an 8-meter concrete post attached to a single-story keeper's house, with the light positioned at a focal height of 41 meters. It emits a single white flash every 10 seconds, visible for a geographic range of 17.2 nautical miles. In February 2015, renovations were announced, with plans to open the site to the public.
