About Ponta Piambo Lighthouse
This square masonry tower, built and first lit in 1968, stands 12 meters tall. It displays three white flashes every 10 seconds. The tower's exterior is distinguished by horizontal bands of blue and white. Rising from the center of a keeper's house, its focal plane is 54 meters above sea level. The lighthouse was restored in 2008 and remains operational, visible for 17 nautical miles.
