About Pointe Molloy Lighthouse
Pointe Molloy is a white, square concrete structure with a red checkered daymark. The light emits a red flash on a 2.5-second cycle. A 4-meter concrete equipment shelter supports a short post topped with the light. The structure is situated on a promontory on the northwest side of the bay, approximately 18 kilometers west of the scientific station at Port-aux-Français. The site is accessible, but the tower itself is closed to the public.
