This white, 15-meter tall tripod tower is constructed from cast iron and features a black lantern, gallery, and watch room. Its focal height reaches 21 meters above sea level. The lighthouse emits two white flashes followed by one white flash every 15 seconds, visible for 13.4 nautical miles. It replaced an earlier structure that was destroyed by a storm in November 1900. The current lighthouse stands at the end of the breakwater mole, approximately 0.2 kilometers from the nearest port facilities.
