A 10-meter white cylindrical tower, constructed from concrete and fiberglass, sits on a square foundation. Its light source is elevated 46 meters above sea level. The light pattern is two white flashes followed by one white flash every 10 seconds, with a geographic range of 18.1 nautical miles. This structure, featuring a round hourglass-shaped fiberglass section atop the concrete base, is located in Nuweiba on the Gulf of Aqaba, near the ferry terminal to Aqaba, Jordan. The site is accessible, though the tower is not open for entry. Israel built the lighthouse during its control of the Sinai Peninsula from 1967 to 1982.
