The Niúwěi Shān lighthouse is a square white concrete tower, 12 meters in height. It is located on the east side of the Mǐnjiāng river in China's Fujian province, south of the Dōnggāozhài lighthouse. The tower stands near the city of Changle District and approximately 2.8 kilometers from the nearest port of Fuzhou. Although operational information is listed as true, the lighthouse has been inactive since 2009. The structure itself remains visible from a nearby highway.
