This hexagonal concrete lighthouse stands 7 meters tall and was built and first lit in 2008. Its tower is painted with black and white horizontal bands. The focal height of the light is 32 meters, emitting a white flash every 6 seconds. Located at the southwestern tip of Mǎcìdǎo, an island south of Fúyīngdǎo, it marks the island's edge. This structure has a geographic range of 15.7 nautical miles.
Why it matters: The lighthouse is important for marking the southwestern extremity of Mǎcìdǎo, south of Fúyīngdǎo, aiding vessels in these coastal waters.
