Built in 1912, the Manaus Alfândega lighthouse is a 22-meter cylindrical tower located in downtown Manaus, Brazil, about 1200 km inland from Belém. The structure combines a square castellated masonry tower with a round fiberglass upper section. This upper section features black and white horizontal bands and sits adjacent to an ornate, three-story customs house. The lighthouse is situated on Avenida Marquesa da Santa Cruz.
