The light emits a white flash every 30 seconds, visible for approximately 24.4 nautical miles. This structure is attached to a one-story stone keeper's house. It stands at Ákra Lithári, the southeasternmost point of Skíros, an island in the Sporades chain located about 40 km northeast of Kimi, Euboea. The nearest port to the lighthouse is Skiros, 8 km away.
