It is a tapered square structure, painted white and black, standing 22 meters tall with a focal height of 27.5 meters. A diamond-shaped daymark adorns the tower, which features a gallery. The light emits a single white flash every 2 seconds, visible for 14.8 nautical miles. This front range light is situated south of Yángwōdǎo, forming the first entrance range for vessels arriving at Liányúngǎng.
