The steel lightfloat Yíngkǒu, built in 1917, is a 23-meter cylindrical structure colored red. Its light tower, featuring a lantern and gallery, is situated amidships. It was first lit in 1917 and has a focal height of 17.5 meters, emitting a white flashing light visible for 12.5 nautical miles. Originally a crewed station, it was converted to automatic operation in 1985. The lightfloat was replaced in 2015 and subsequently relocated to Shanghai for display at the China Maritime Museum. It was positioned about 12 km southwest of the Liáo River mouth and the harbor of Yíngkǒu.
