Jhanjhmer Lighthouse, first lit in 1870, stands on a bluff about 8 kilometers southwest of Gopnath Point. The present square masonry tower, standing 9 meters tall, was constructed in 1970 and features white paint with red trim. Its focal height reaches 45 meters, projecting a white flash every 10 seconds visible for nearly 18 nautical miles. The lighthouse is situated on the site of an old fort built by the prince of Bhavnagar, with its foundations incorporating the fort's ruins. While the site is accessible to the public, the tower remains closed.
