Its light is positioned 31 meters above sea level and emits a white flash every four seconds, visible for 15.5 nautical miles. The operational lighthouse is located on a remote islet, accessible only by boat, with the nearest port being Luhuashan, 7.8 kilometers away. While the surrounding site is open to visitors, the tower itself is closed.
Why it matters: This light marks the southwesternmost point of the Mǎ'ān Islands, helping vessels navigate around this remote island group.
