Hòujiǎo Lighthouse, built in 2009 from concrete, is an 8-meter tall cylindrical tower covered with white tiles. The structure stands on the southern tip of the Dōngshān peninsula in Fujian province. Its focal height reaches 26 meters, and it emits a combined white and red light that flashes once every four seconds. This light provides a geographic range of 14.5 nautical miles. The lighthouse is located near Dongshan County, with the nearest port being Dongshan, 13.5 kilometers away. It became operational in 2009, marking a recent addition to maritime safety infrastructure in the region.
