About Goulding Cay Lighthouse
A white, triangular skeletal mast constructed of steel, Goulding Cay Lighthouse stands 15 meters tall. It was built and first lit in 1922. The light emits a white flash every two seconds, with a focal height of 11 meters and a geographic range of 10.7 nautical miles. The lighthouse is located at the west end of Goulding Cay, approximately 2 kilometers west of New Providence Island's westernmost point. While the site is open to visitors, the tower itself is closed to the public.
