The Gǎng lighthouse is a cylindrical, white concrete tower built in 2017. Standing 15 meters tall, its light is situated 16 meters above sea level. It emits an occulting white light that is on for one second and off for one second, providing guidance for vessels. The lighthouse is positioned on the south side of the harbor entrance at Tánmén Gǎng, a port located about 15 kilometers east of Qiónghǎi City in China's Hainan region. Its geographic range extends to 12.2 nautical miles.
