This octagonal concrete lighthouse, standing 37 meters tall, was built and first lit in 1983. Its tower is painted with distinctive black and white vertical stripes and features an octagonal lantern room with a double gallery. The lighthouse emits a white light with one flash every 5 seconds, visible for 16.4 nautical miles. The lantern itself has a notable history, having been transferred from the Taichung (Cingshuei) lighthouse. Located on the north side of Fangyuan in Changhua County, it is accessible to the public.
