About Dàochǎngjiāo Lighthouse
Also known as: Dàochǎngjiāo (Dàochǎng Jiāo)
Established in 1983, the Dàochǎngjiāo Lighthouse guides vessels in the Zhōushān harbor. The current cylindrical concrete tower, standing 15 meters tall with a focal height of 14 meters, was first lit in 1997. Its structure consists of a hexagonal cylindrical concrete tower with a gallery, mounted on a round concrete pier. The lighthouse emits a white light with two flashes every five seconds. This operational light provides a geographic range of 11.6 nautical miles. The tower is painted black.
