About Chamuyu Lighthouse
This octagonal concrete tower, painted with black and white vertical stripes, stands 12 meters tall. It first became operational in 1914, although it was substantially rebuilt in 1949. The light emits two flashes, alternating white, red, and green, every 8 seconds. Its focal height is 25 meters above sea level. The Chamuyu Lighthouse is part of the NGA and Admiralty lists, and is also recognized by ARLHS.
