About Caió Lighthouse
This round stone tower, built in 1944, stands 42 meters tall and is painted with black and white horizontal bands. Its light emits two white flashes every 10 seconds, with a geographic range of 16 nautical miles. A RACON signal is also active, transmitting the letter B with a 60-second cycle. The lighthouse was temporarily extinguished in 2007. It is located in Guinea-Bissau.
