About Cabo San Pablo Lighthouse
Constructed of concrete, this cylindrical lighthouse stands 20 meters tall. It was built and first lit in 1945. The tower is painted white and features a black triangular daymark pointing downwards. Its operational status ceased in 1949 following significant damage from an earthquake. The seismic event caused the structure to lean approximately 30 degrees.
