About Bozalan Burnu Lighthouse
Bozalan Burnu is a white, 8-meter tall square pyramidal skeletal tower constructed of concrete. It stands on a promontory on the east side of the entrance to the Bay of Alaçatı, near Çeşme, Turkey. The light has a focal height of 33 meters and emits a white flash every 5 seconds, visible for nearly 16 nautical miles. A small concrete equipment shelter is situated next to the tower. While the site is open to the public, the tower itself remains closed, maintaining its operational status.
