About Bobowasi Island Lighthouse
This round, stone lighthouse stands 33 meters tall, with its focal plane at 24 meters. Built in 1915, it was first lit the same year. The tower is painted white, topped with a red lantern. Daymarks consist of a white triangle pointing downward. It originally displayed a white or red light depending on the direction, with a 17-second cycle. A RACON is also fitted. The structure is attached to a one-story keeper's house. This light was deactivated for a period before being reactivated.
