Also known as: Bànyángjiāo (Bànyáng Jiāo, Niùbìshān Shuǐdào, Jiushan Liedao)

Constructed in 2000, Bànyángjiāo Lighthouse is a 16-meter tall concrete tower located on an isolated reef approximately 20 kilometers east of the Xiàngshān Peninsula in China's Zhejiang region. The cylindrical structure features two galleries and an exterior stairway. It emits a white light with two flashes every 5 seconds, visible for 12.4 nautical miles. The current lighthouse replaced a previous structure built in 1986 that was severely damaged by a typhoon in 1997. Its color scheme is black with a red horizontal band.
