Also known as: Běitán (Ānpù Gǎng)
A cylindrical concrete tower, 20 meters tall, was constructed in 2019 at the end of a breakwater in Běitán, also known as North Pool. This port is located at the eastern end of Ānpù Bay, near Zhanjiang City. The lighthouse emits a white flash every 6 seconds from a focal height of 25 meters, with a geographic range of 14.3 nautical miles. It replaced two shorter lights previously listed for the region. The structure includes a lantern and a gallery.
Why it matters: The lighthouse guides vessels into Běitán port, a significant shipping hub at the eastern end of Ānpù Bay.
