This cylindrical tower, standing 14 meters tall, is constructed of fiberglass and painted red. It emits a red light with a characteristic of a single flash every 6 seconds. The structure is located at the extremity of the south breakwater, extending into the Persian Gulf near Bandar Ganaveh. This light replaced an earlier pierhead light to accommodate changing maritime needs in the area. It is situated approximately 0.3 kilometers from the nearest port.
Why it matters: The light marks the end of the south breakwater, providing a critical navigational point for vessels entering or departing the harbor at Bandar Ganaveh.
