Standing 9 meters tall, it is situated atop a steep bluff at Wabuka, approximately 5 kilometers southeast of Susami. The light reaches a focal height of 89 meters and has a geographic range of 23.7 nautical miles. Its illumination consists of a white flash every 5 seconds. The lighthouse is built to shine its light through a small window. While the site is open to visitors, the tower itself remains closed to the public.
