The Torre degli Inglesi, also known as Torre di Capo Peloro, is situated at the extreme northeast point of Capo Peloro in Sicily. This navigational aid was established in 1916 as a permanent light, following a temporary light shown from the site in the 1890s. Constructed of stone, the semielliptical tower stands 21 meters high, with a focal height of 26 meters. Its operational period as a light extended until the 1930s. The tower is part of a medieval fortress, integrating defensive architecture with maritime guidance.
