About Tappisaki Lighthouse
This concrete lighthouse stands 13.72 meters tall and was first lit in 1932. Its round, white tower has a focal height of 119 meters, providing a geographic range of 23 nautical miles. The light emits two white flashes every 20 seconds. The structure is situated on the northernmost extremity of Cape Tappi, which forms the northern tip of the Tsugaru Peninsula.
