About Schnapper Point Lighthouse
Also known as: #Schnapper Point
A white, cylindrical skeletal tower formerly stood 8 meters tall at Schnapper Point, located at the eastern shore of Port Phillip Bay. This structure, with a focal height of 9 meters, emitted a green flash every 5 seconds and had a geographic range of 10 nautical miles. However, the original skeletal tower has since been replaced by a post. The site remains operational and is situated at the end of Mornington Pier.
