Constructed and first illuminated in 1973, this lighthouse features a 16-meter concrete tower. Its light, situated at a focal height of 81 meters, provides a visible range of 22.8 nautical miles. The construction comprises a 1-story square concrete base topped with a round fiberglass post light, distinguished by horizontal red and white bands. The light signal is a white flash occurring every 4 seconds. Significant modifications were made to the structure in 2001. The lighthouse is positioned on a cape about 15 kilometers south of Huacho.
