About Quillebeuf-sur-Seine Lighthouse
A round, cylindrical brick tower built in 1862 stands 10 meters tall on the south bank of the Seine River. The stucco-clad structure, topped with a lantern and gallery, features a green-painted lantern. Its focal height reaches 11 meters, emitting a fixed white light visible for 10.7 nautical miles. The lighthouse site is open to the public, though the tower itself is closed. The station was first established in 1817, with the current tower completed in 1862. In 2011, it was designated a historic monument.
