A cylindrical concrete tower standing 9 meters tall, Punta Vagno was first lit in 1948. It guides ships approaching the eastern entrance to Genoa's harbor. The lighthouse displays a white light with one flash every 15 seconds. Its focal height reaches 26 meters, providing a geographic range of 14.5 nautical miles. The tower is painted white with a black lantern roof. The original lighthouse at this location was destroyed during World War II.
