About Punta Nariga Lighthouse
Completed in 1998, Punta Nariga Lighthouse features a white concrete cylindrical tower rising 39 meters. Its design incorporates a rhomboidal foundation resembling a ship's prow, integrated with a triangular equipment room. The focal height of the light is 55 meters, emitting three white flashes followed by one white flash every 20 seconds, visible for 19.4 nautical miles. The site, located on a rocky headland in Malpica de Bergantiños, is open to visitors, though the tower itself is closed. The lighthouse is maintained by the Port Authority of A Coruña.
