The focal height of the light is 13 meters, and it emits a fixed red light with two red flashes every 10 seconds. Its geographic range extends 11.3 nautical miles. The lighthouse is situated at the end of the east breakwater in Higashi-Hazu, near Nishio city in Aichi Prefecture. The site is open to the public, though the tower itself is closed.
