Built in 1934, the Manzyu Shima lighthouse is a cylindrical concrete tower standing 16 meters tall. It features a lantern and gallery at its summit. The light emits a single white flash every four seconds and has a geographic range of 12.2 nautical miles. Located in Yamaguchi Prefecture, near Shimonoseki, the lighthouse is situated on an island 0.8 kilometers from the nearest port, Chofu. While the tower is closed to the public, visitors can access the site.
