The Kingswear Daymark is an octagonal, hollow granite tower built in 1864, standing 25 meters tall. Its unique arched base is open underneath. The structure is painted white and red and serves as the entrance leading light for Dartmouth, located on the north side of the Dart estuary entrance at Kingswear. It exhibits a directional light with white, red, and green sectors, cycling through these colors every 3 seconds. While the tower is closed to the public, the site is accessible.
