Kamae Kō Lighthouse is a cylindrical concrete tower painted white, standing 10 meters tall. It was built and first lit in 1951. The lighthouse rises from a one-story concrete equipment room on a promontory on the east side of Kamae harbor. It emits a white flash every 5 seconds, visible for 11.3 nautical miles. The focal height of the light is 13 meters above sea level. This structure serves as a navigational aid for vessels approaching the port.
