About Iso-Kraaseli Lighthouse
The Iso-Kraaseli daybeacon, constructed in 1852, is an octagonal pyramidal tower built of wood. Its upper half is enclosed and painted white, standing 18 meters tall. Located on the northern end of Iso-Kraaseli island, it lies approximately 4 kilometers west of Raahe's waterfront. The structure has been maintained by the city of Raahe since 1983. While visitors can access the island, the tower itself is closed to the public.
