It is a cylindrical post topped with a lantern, rising from a single-story concrete equipment room. Located at the end of a detached breakwater, it marks the entrance to Hinase harbor in Bizen. The light emits a single red flash every 3 seconds and has a geographic range of 11 nautical miles. The site is open to the public, but the tower itself is closed.
