About Gisslan Lighthouse
The Gisslan Lighthouse, operational since 1910, is located on a small islet southwest of Eckerö in Finland's Åland Islands. The present red tower measures 10 meters in height, with its light situated 16 meters above sea level. This light produces a white flash every 5 seconds and has a geographic range of 12.2 nautical miles. A skeletal lighthouse was previously at this location. The site is open for visits, but the tower is not accessible.
