About Talibon Lighthouse
Talibon Lighthouse is a cylindrical concrete tower standing 9 meters high. It features a square base with an external stairway that encircles the structure. Located at the base of the pier, the lighthouse is very close to the nearest port of Talibon, just 0.4 kilometers away. It emits a white light that flashes once every 5 seconds. The site is accessible to the public, but visitors cannot enter the tower itself.
Why it matters: This lighthouse guides ferries and local shipping into Talibon's busy port, a critical hub for transport on Bohol's north side.
